Target conducted ACM/ORM abatement and removal of 14 facilities totaling 275,000 SF, including structures, slabs, and abandoned utilities to five feet outside of the building’s perimeter.
- Developed work plans and provided site supervision, asbestos abatement, ORM removal, demolition, recycling/waste disposal, and site restoration
- Submitted permits to NC DHHS and NC DPH for ACM abatement of over 110,000 SF of friable and non-friable materials, lead in demolition, and PCB/mercury disposal.
- Recycled 2,975 tons of C&D, steel, and ORM and 60,296 CY of concrete to achieve 60% waste diversion goal.
- Provided site restoration to ensure positive drainage and matting over all disturbed areas to pre-demolition conditions.
- Self-performed 93% of the total cost of the contract
